How do I care for my COBA handbag?
Here are a few helpful tips to keep your COBA handbag in the best condition possible:
- Since COBA handbags are made out of plastic, the exterior of our bags can be wiped clean with a damp cloth.
- When using one of our fabulous straps, we recommend to not overload your bag with excessive weight as this will place overdue strain on the clasp which may cause it to tear from the sides.
- Stay clear of essential oils and/or hand sanitizer as they will discolor some leathers.
- Tassels – Pay extra attention to those beautiful tassels! They can catch on anything if you are not careful.
Where are COBA handbags made?
Our beautiful bags are made in the interior of Mexico by our wonderful and talented artisans.
How long does it take to make a handbag?
Because our bags are all handwoven, each bag takes approximately 3 to 4 days (depending on the size) from start to finish.
What are the handbags made out of?
Our handbags are made out of various recycled plastic materials, our handles are made out of leather and our tassel is silk. The interior of our bags are lined with polyester.
Are all handbags/accessories true to size/color as shown in the pictures?
Because our handbags and accessories are all artisan made, no two bags are exactly alike. Therefore, there may be a slight variation in size and color. Our color process is rudimentary; not all recycled plastic will absorb the color the same. This is what make COBA handbags so unique and so special!
